Developing business cases based on the company’s digital positioning means turning away from the conventional way of establishing a business case. We’re using the canvas method to create business cases based on use cases of the first transformation step.

In this iteration, the business cases are checked against the target orientation using recursive SWOT analysis. For target orientation, these four quadrants are used:

 
 
The requirement for continuing consideration of the business cases is their conformity to the chosen digital positioning.
